HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN IPSWICH?

36 years. Lived in Townsville for 4 years. If you have moved here, where did you move from and why? Born and bred here and came back when I was 20, after a stint in Townsville.

Enjoy going out with family and friends, rugby league and relaxing by the pool with a beer.

Great community and I have so many great friends and family here.

Our girls love the Ipswich Nature Centre, and we often go there, then we grab a coffee and head to Queens Park. It is a great facility.

WHAT’S THE CITY’S BEST KEPT SECRET?

The open spaces and conservation areas. There are some fantastic hiking trails.

I grew up in Raceview but love Ripley. We can walk to four great parks with the family.

There are some great restaurants in the city so take your pick, and then enjoy a show at the Ipswich Civic Centre.
