Current and future residents at Bundaleer Lodge will soon enjoy a fully upgraded facility with spacious new rooms, light and airy relaxation spaces and plenty of gorgeous greenery.

First built in 1970, Bundaleer Lodge is undergoing its biggest facelift to date, thanks to owner and manager, Lynette Dresselhaus and her team.


Lynette, whose family first built Bundaleer Lodge, started out as a teenager working in the kitchen and has been an integral part of the family business ever since. The kitchens where she started her career however, have been completely renovated, and now form part of the Lodge’s brand-new living area.


Plenty of thought and consideration has gone into making the bedrooms, living and outdoor spaces as warm and welcoming as possible, with residents able to enjoy views of the lush gardens from their private ensuite rooms, and new, upgraded nursing stations have been installed.


The current stage of the redevelopment, managed by Building and Consultant Manger, Allan Freese, is close to completion, and will offer an additional 48 single rooms with ensuites and garden views, which will a total of 171 nursing care beds once completed.


There are approximately 120 staff on hand to make life at Bundaleer Lodge enjoyable and engaging for their residents. The Lodge also offers an onsite café, entertainment room, internet café, dining rooms, lounge rooms and a brand-new industrial kitchen and laundry. There’s even a new outdoor pool table and plenty of peaceful outdoor spaces for residents to sit and enjoy the gardens.
