This month we celebrate the important contribution Ipswich small businesses make in enhancing the local economy, generating local jobs, and aiding in the foundation and strength of our community.
From COVID-19 to the floods in recent years, it gets increasingly more vital that we draw some much-needed attention to the thousands of small businesses that keep Ipswich flourishing.
Small Business Month will assist in shining a spotlight on the Ipswich & Bremer Chambers of Commerce, and their industry-specific networks that provide business support and advocacy to over 11,500 registered businesses across the Ipswich Region.
Healthy business relationships are the cornerstone of business growth, and the Ipswich Chamber has been connecting and creating collaborations since 1906 in Ipswich.
Phillip Bell, President of the Ipswich and Bremer Chambers of Commerce goes on to say “n 2005 we launched ‘Shop Ipswich’, a local directory which has since expanded to a website and social media channel where consumers can search all the best local Ipswich businesses for products and services that are locally provided… we encourage all to share the love and #shopipswich”
Ipswich businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the many great opportunities available to business owners. To learn more visit ipswichchamber.org.au
